ABOUT PRAIRIE STRONG GOALTENDING
Prairie Strong Goaltending is a goalie development service based out of Swift Current, Saskatchewan. PSG currently works with Prairie Hockey Academy (Bantam/Midget Prep), Swift Current Wildcats (Female Midget AAA) and Swift Current PeeWee Broncos (PeeWee AA). PSG believes in not only developing goalie skills but also life skills by enforcing things like being on time, working hard, listening, learning from mistakes, and making and working towards goals. Many characteristics that make a strong goalie and challenges goalies deal with also set them up for a successful life and make them a strong person. Goalies have to deal with challenges such as pressure, criticism, being depended upon, stress, and last but not least, making mistakes that everyone in the building knows about. Prairie Strong Goaltending desires to help goalies learn to overcome these challenges and build their on ice skills in hopes of developing successful goaltenders both on and off the ice.
